Shelters

Do you need a place to stay?

Are you unsafe where you are or precariously housed?

See below for lists of emergency shelters specializing in Intimate Partner Violence and Homelessness.

Intimate partner violence emergency shelters have the security to keep women and their children safe, as statistically the most dangerous time for a woman is when she decides to leave the abusive relationship.

“It has been the best experience of my life. They were able to get me a sexual abuse counsellor, they have helped me find out where I want to go, what my action plans are…It’s the first time in my life I felt like I matter.”
